Let's start with the universal length just below the knee, so you can wear it without any embarrassment even to work. In addition, a slightly looser cut, subtlety added by wider, slightly puffy sleeves and a stand-up collar. The waist is emphasized by a belt that can be tied at the appropriate height. Tempting slits on the sides, breaking the simplicity and adding sex appeal.
Properly framed, it will work in various situations. With cowboy boots at a party with friends, with high-heeled sandals when you're going on a date and want to charm her, or with flip-flops when you finally take her on vacation.
